RoofingFox was founded in 2009 by Marcus Delgado, a former field crew lead who spent his first decade in roofing watching installation quality drop in direct proportion to the project volume contractors pursued. After the 2008 hail season exposed what rushed installation looks like three years later — in the form of premature failures, missed flashing defects, and ventilation errors — Marcus started RoofingFox with a single rule: never schedule more projects than the existing crews can execute at full quality.
Sixteen years later, that rule remains the defining constraint of how we operate. We have 24 full-time W-2 employees. We have never used subcontracted installation labor. We decline projects when our scheduling pipeline would compromise field supervisor time per job.

Every RoofingFox crew is W-2 employed, trained in-house, and accountable to a field supervisor who has full authority to stop a job if standards aren't met. This isn't a policy statement — it's a structural constraint.

We turn down work when our schedule is full. That's uncomfortable commercially and essential to our quality commitment. A field supervisor who oversees 5 jobs at once cannot execute at the standard we've built our reputation on.
